Chapter One: Factors That Affect Productivity in the Economy

With the appropriate policies, the American economy can return to rapid growth. Economic growth increases when more people work more productively. However, growth has slowed as productivity and hours worked have fallen. Returning to a robust economy will require policies that invest in physical capital and increase productivity.
