Thinking about the availability of bread (and coffee and garlic and fresh-cut flowers and shirts and sushi and haircuts and inexpensive clothing) might make you grateful. Based on the poem, who should you thank?


If you want to thank anyone, I imagine it would be the makers of the finished product. After all, they are the ones who put the time and effort into converting the raw materials or intermediate goods into the product you value.
