The rule of law, and adherence to it, trumps and smoothed out, the worst aspects of capitalism and market Capitalism. It serves to protect. It can be used to encourage people to voluntarily redistribute wealth, via taxation and charitable contribution, to those in the lower wrungs of society that prosperity does not reach.
That should have read, “…individual corruption and market capitalism…”.
The theory is fine, but why do we have so much homelessness?
The bill of rights applies to all classes.
