Major policy decisions have dramatic consequences. The country of Oman has been able to remain a tranquil country and an ally of America. Yet next door, Yemen has been locked in a brutal civil war, supported on one side by Iran and another by Saudi Arabia, with some American support.

Discussion Questions:

  1. Should US foreign policy be easy or difficult to make? Why?
  2. What could America do to ameliorate the civil war in Yemen?
